WH Smith North America Appoints Robert Van Snik as Divisional Senior Vice President of Business Development

LAS VEGAS – WH Smith North America (WHSNA), incorporating Marshall Retail Group and InMotion, America’s leading specialty retailer in the airport marketplace, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert van Snik as divisional senior vice president of business development.

van Snik is a seasoned executive, with over 25 years of U.S. airport concessions development experience. His experience includes key business development roles for both airport developers and prime concession operators. Most recently, van Snik was with Vantage Airport Group, where he led the pursuit, development, and on-time opening of 47 concessions in the new terminal at the Kansas City International Airport. Previously, van Snik led commercial leasing and tenant coordination for URW Airports’ entire U.S. airport business.  Prior to that, van Snik held several key roles at HMSHost, where he was involved in the pursuit and development of airport concessions in over 20 of the top U.S. airports.
